Sight Seeing

It was a beautiful day for a sight seeing road trip and we were driving on some "fine" roads, including the one to Poker Flat. Oh My! We came up out of Poker Flat to Howland Flat and there it was- a very old abandoned gold mine camp and across from it was a grave yard. Some of the graves had fences around them that were all decayed and falling down. Some looked like they had been cared for and this was quite a surprise. The dates on the stones were from the 1800's, some were more recent but for the most part, quite old.
My daughter, Shawna, was with us and snapping pictures with her new digital camera.  We had heard that digital cameras could sometimes capture images of ghosts but didn't quite believe it until we saw this picture .

My husband, Don, is standing near the center of the photo, looking at a headstone.  At the base of the headstone, there is a creepy looking skull!  If you study the picture carefully, a few more faces can be seen.
We haven't caught anymore ghosts in our pictures but now we photograph all the graveyards we come across.
